KLINKAU PRODUCTS
Klinkau offers a wide range of filter plates (elements) and options, as well as filtration accessories:
  1. Membrane filter plates.
  2. Recessed chamber filter plates.
  3. Filter plates and frames.
  4. Filter plate accessories.
1. Membrane Filter Plates
Klinkau membrane filter plates are primarily used in applications that require reduced cycle times, increased cake dry solids and improved cake wash capability. The Klinkau membrane filter plate offers a significant advantage over conventional filter plates when the degree of dryness of the filter cake and the quality of the filter cake composition cannot be compromised.

We offer three standard membrane filter plate designs:
  • Fixed Welded.
  • Fixed Welded, "Empty Chamber" Design.
  • Replaceable Membrane, "Empty Chamber" Design.
Klinkau membrane filter plates are available in sizes ranging from 470 mm to 2000 mm and are designed for operating pressures in excess of 225 psig (16 bar). Materials of construction include: polypropylene, polypropylene modifications, EP (santoprene), and PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride).

All designs are available with a variety of options. Contact us for information on your specific application.

  2. Recessed Chamber Filter Plates
Suitable for most standard filtration applications, Klinkau recessed chamber filter plates are manufactured with a fixed-volume recessed depth and area, formed on both sides of the filter plate. Cake and plate thickness are determined by the application requirements in design pressures in excess of 225 psig (16 bar).

Our recessed chamber filter plates are supplied with standard non-gasket machined sealing surfaces to ensure durability and long service life. Recessed chamber filter plates can also be supplied with a caulking groove and gasket seal (CGR) to eliminate cloth wicking or leaking of filtrate from the filter plate stack. Advantages of Klinkau recessed chamber filter plates include:
  • High volume capacities.
  • Ability to withstand extreme temperatures.
  • High solids filling and fast filtration rates due to increased feed eye size.
  • Optional caulked and gasketed design (CGR).
Klinkau recessed chamber filter plates are available in sizes ranging from 250 mm to 2000 mm (also 12î to 59î). Contact us for information on your specific application.

3. Filter Plates and Frames

Customers utilise Klinkau filter plates and frames because of their excellent cake washing and air blow-down capabilities, ease of use, and their ability to provide cake thicknesses ranging from 10 mm to 60 mm. Please contact us for information on your specific application.
